Duration:
The ceremony is expected to last 60-90 minutes.

The ceremony will be livestreamed for all who are unable to attend.

Eligibility

The following students are eligible to attend the Miami Commencement:

Degree candidates who complete their degree requirements in Miami between Fall 2025 through Summer 2026.

Tickets

Each graduate can claim up to 4 guest tickets.

Students will receive instructions to claim tickets in their Northeastern email address in January/February.

Ticket FAQ

Can I register to claim extra tickets?

Extra tickets will not be available for the commencement ceremony. The allotted count is based on the number of graduates and capacity at Miami Campus.

Do children and babies need tickets?

Children 2 years or younger who are able to sit on an adult’s lap for the duration of the ceremony do not need a ticket. Please note that strollers are prohibited. Children older than 2 years must have a ticket.

What if I do not claim or use all of my tickets during registration?

After your initial ticket registration, you can log back into the ticketing webpage to access the remainder of your tickets until the day of the ceremony.
