Duration:
The ceremony is expected to last 120 – 150 minutes.

The ceremony will be livestreamed for all who are unable to attend. Details will be on Northeastern Global News on the day of the ceremony.

Eligibility

All degree candidates who complete their degree requirements in Toronto between Fall 2025 through Summer 2026 are eligible to attend the Toronto Convocation.

Tickets

Each graduate can claim up to 3 guest tickets.

Students will receive instructions to claim tickets in their Northeastern email address in January/February.

To go back to your guest tickets, follow these instructions:
● Log in to northeastern.tassel.com using your Northeastern email address.
● Click “View” under your ceremony.
● You have the option to select your tickets to email directly to your guests or to print your guest tickets.

Ticket FAQ

Can I register to claim extra tickets?

Students can claim their guest tickets via their Tassel account and can request up to 3 additional guest tickets. Please note that extra guest tickets are not guaranteed and will be determined based on venue capacity. Extra guest tickets, if approved, will be release in the second week of May 2026.

Do children and babies need tickets?

Children 2 years or younger who are able to sit on an adult’s lap for the duration of the ceremony do not need a ticket. Please note that strollers are prohibited. Children older than 2 years must have a ticket. 

What if I do not claim or use all of my tickets during registration?

After your initial ticket registration, you can log back into the ticketing webpage to access the remainder of your tickets until the day of the ceremony.
