Eligibility

The following students are eligible to attend the Oakland and Silicon Valley Commencement:

Degree candidates who complete their degree requirements in Oakland or Silicon Valley between Fall 2024 through Summer 2025.

All CPS Doctoral candidates who complete their degree requirements in Oakland or Silicon Valley in Spring 2025, Summer 2025, Fall 2025, or Winter 2026.

Tickets

Each graduate can claim up to 2 guest tickets via their Tassel account.

Any students interested in requesting additional tickets may do so through this form: https://forms.office.com/r/VKZWtia9hn before the March 20th, 2026, deadline.

Ticket FAQ

Can I register to claim extra tickets?

Additional ticket requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis. There is no guarantee that additional tickets will be available. More information will be provided at a later date.

Do children and babies need tickets?

Children 2 years or younger who are able to sit on an adult’s lap for the duration of the ceremony do not need a ticket. Children older than 2 years must have a ticket.

What if I do not claim or use all of my tickets during registration?

After your initial ticket registration, you can log back into the ticketing webpage to access the remainder of your tickets until the day of the ceremony.

Grad Fair

Please join us for our Grad Fair to learn more about registering for your ceremony, ordering your cap and gown, and more! There is also an opportunity to take a senior portrait. Sign up using the link below.
