London Graduation

Graduating students and their guests will need to arrive at the Queen Elizabeth Hall entrance at 10:30 and follow the signposts to the gowning and photography in the foyer. Morning refreshments will also be available in the foyer for all students and guests. Information on how to get to The Queen Elizabeth Hall can be found in the ‘Getting to The Southbank Centre’ section below.

Your guests will need to take their seats in The Queen Elizabeth Hall between 12:30 to 12:45, for the ceremony to commence at 13:00. The ceremony will last approximately 60 minutes and will be followed by a drinks and canapé reception in the foyer. Further information, such as the order of awards, will be shared with graduating students and their guests on the day.

RSVP and Guest Tickets – Each graduand is entitled to six (6) guest tickets, with additional tickets available subject to capacity. Click here to request tickets by May 6th, 2025.

Academic Dress – All graduands are required to wear the official university academic dress, which must be ordered in advance by May 6th, 2025. Click here to reserve your cap and gown.

Photography – Professional photography services will be available at the venue, but it is recommended to pre-book to avoid delays and guarantee a photograph. Click here to book photography.

Following the formal proceedings, graduates and their guests are invited to a reception where light refreshments will be served. This is an opportunity to celebrate your success with fellow graduates, faculty members, and university staff.

The Graduation ceremony will be taking place at The Queen Elizabeth Hall, which is
wheelchair accessible.
The reception and gowning will be taking place in the foyer, which is also accessible to
wheelchair users.
