This ceremony will include the Investiture of Doctoral Hoods by the student’s advisor or faculty representative from the college.

Each ceremony will last 90-120 minutes.

The ceremony will be livestreamed for all who are unable to attend.

Please plan to join fellow classmates and guests immediately following at the Curry Student Center, for a celebratory toast.

Eligibility

All College of Professional Studies Doctoral candidates who complete their degree requirements in Boston in Spring 2025, Summer 2025, Fall 2025, Winter 2026, or Spring 2026 quarter are eligible to attend the CPS Doctoral Commencement in Boston.

Ceremony Registration

Eligible doctoral candidates will receive an email invitation to register for the 2026 Doctoral Commencement ceremony. Registration allows graduates to claim guest tickets and receive a link to order complimentary regalia. If you have not yet received an invitation, please confirm that you have applied to graduate with the Registrar’s Office, as this is required for participation in the ceremony.

Tickets

Each graduate may claim up to three guest tickets during registration and request placement on a waitlist for additional tickets at Blackman Auditorium or the Curry Student Center Ballroom livestream event.


Children 2 years or younger who are able to sit on an adult’s lap for the duration of the ceremony do not require a ticket. Strollers are not permitted. Children older than 2 years must have a ticket.

To go back to your guest tickets, follow these instructions:
– Log in to northeastern.tassel.com using your Northeastern email address.
– Click “Print/Email Tickets.” You have the option to either print each ticket or email your tickets to your guests.
